Despite all the recent advances in computer technology, translation software which is able to produce a loyal,
correct and understandable text has not yet been invented.
For the time being, translation software may be useful for trying to decipher broadly the general sense of a document,
but it requires just as many hours labour from a professional translator or proof-reader to correct the text afterwards, as would
be needed for a direct translation without the help of this software, or even more.
This does not mean that we at Costa Blanca Translations do not take advantage of the latest technical benefits. Very useful for example are our computerized dictionaries and encyclopaedias, as they allow rapid searching for terms and concepts and perfectly complement our printed reference material. Even more specialised is our translation database, in which we store all the translations we do, guaranteeing speed, uniformity and coherence.
